The South Carolina State Library and TumbleBooks Inc. are pleased to announce that the Library is now offering its citizens unlimited and unrestricted access to TumbleBookLibrary. TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books, reading comprehension quizzes, read-along chapter books, and educational resources used by over 20,000 schools and libraries in 100 countries around the world. The new state-wide subscription now has both the highest level of content and a Platinum level access which ensures that every citizen, whether from school or from home, has unlimited and unrestricted access to the collection.

“As a State Library Agency our funding is limited; we consistently evaluate our resources to ensure that we are receiving a positive return on our investment.," states Leesa Aiken, Agency Director. "Over the last several years, TumbleBooks has proven to be a valuable resource to South Carolina families. Our decision to upgrade to the premium version of TumbleBooks and to purchase a statewide license so that teachers have access to this substantial resource was relatively easy. Our intention is to always purchase resources that provide equal access to information for all South Carolinians.  TumbleBooks helps us to achieve that goal. We are eager to hear of the impact that TumbleBooks has in South Carolina.”

‎TumbleBooks has long been a favorite in South Carolina, with many school districts and public libraries already having subscriptions. Now every library and educational institute will have access. "We are excited about the partnership," says TumbleBook CEO Ron Zevy " it will be especially gratifying to see book views sky rocket."
