Each year, the SC Education Oversight Committee and the SC Department of Education publishes a series of guides to help families understand the South Carolina Academic Standards. These standards outline state requirements for your child's learning program and what students across the state should be able to do in certain subjects.

Here at the SC State Library, we work with these partners to provide parents and educators interactive activities and additional information to help reinforce and support your child's learning.

We currently have available the English Language Arts sections for the Kindergarten, First, and Second Grades. Additional grade levels and subjects will be available soon.
